BULLYING, THE PERSISTENT PROBLEM IN SCHOOL

Nowadays, we usually hear about some problems that occur at schools. One of the Persistent Problems, which occurs is bullying. Some people had bad experiences to be bullied when they had been young students. In this situation, when they had been being bullied, they had no courage and power to fight against the bully. After being bullied, most of the bullied students feel scared and guilty about letting their teacher and their parents know.
Before giving the solution of how to overcome bullying at school, we should find out some factors, which may create and support the students to do such action. If we interrogate the bullying students the reasons of why they engage with bullying, some of them will reply that “it was fun”, because they want to show their power to others and take advantage of the weak and younger students. Based on this statement, we can see the causes of bullying action.
As a matter of fact, every teenage student, particularly the boys are inclined to show their power to others so that they will be admitted as powerful boys, and this make them satisfied. If these powers are not addressed to a creative way, it will push them to look for other outlets like bullying. So we can understand that they do bullying because the environments around them such as school and home does not provide them with the means and chances to realize their feeling and their potential.
Every one must take part to overcome this persistent problem, because it has very negative effects on children’s future as it can leave scars throughout adulthood, imparing performance and preventing people achieving their potential. The Psychiatric hurt from bullying in childhood may also cause long term damage to both physical and mental health.
After mentioning some factors that cause bullying at school, we can formulate the solution to solve this problem. This problem requires good cooperation among students, teachers and parents. Firstly, Student must empower themselves to fight against the bully. Secondly, Teachers should take a pro-active approach, not a reactical one which will be too late. However, it must to be effectively implemented and not just gather dust on the self. Lastly, parents have to pay more attention to their children by hearing their fears and feelings by providing them with useful means for study and encouraging them to improve their potential.
